The Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie, says shooting a traumatic scene in “A Mighty Heart” was strenuous, but also lends a hand her bond with her friends.
In the movie, Angie plays a role Mariane Pearl, a real-life reporter whose husband (reporter), Daniel, was murdered in Pakistan by terrorists in 2002.
Hollywood actress told UPI director Michael Winterbottom gave her marvelous liberty in playing out one scene wherein brave Mariane crying hysterically upon acknowledging of Daniel’s death.
“We did it about — not too many times — five times? I don’t memorize. I think they used most of the first time,” Angelina Jolie evoked.
Angie also said the day the scene was shot was an emotional one since the cast and squad were all intensely exaggerated by the Pearls’ disastrous story.
“At the end of the day, we had all been crying for so long that we all needed to sit down and try to make each other get silly again,” Angelina said. “We were all puffy and exhausted and all just felt so much closer to each other.”
